Origami Owl Designer Jackie Wymer and her children

Her Origami Owl® adventure has just begun, and for Jackie Wymer, the opportunity to become a Designer couldn’t have come at a better time. She recently had to step away from her job due to health complications, and she’s excited to be home more with her five children while earning additional income for things like the kids’ sports and family vacations. But Origami Owl is so much more than that to Jackie. It’s also a chance to share meaningful custom jewelry – and an opportunity to bond with her daughter, who signed on with her as an Origami Owl Owlette (O2’s program for youth 12 – 18 to work alongside a parent as co-Designers).

BUILDNG A BUSINESS – AND MEMORIES

“I love the products; they’re beautiful pieces. Everybody always gives me comments, saying ‘It’s so cool, how did you get that?’” said Jackie. Along with sharing the Living Lockets and Core pieces, Jackie said she’s looking forward to creating great memories and spending more time with her daughter, Shantel.

Full of praise for Shantel who’s a good example to her four younger brothers, Jackie said, “Shantel is in the National Honor Society and on the honor roll at school. She’s a very outgoing young lady. I’m so proud. She just turned 17. She’s going into her senior year in the fall, and I’m excited to work side by side, to give her something to look forward to after she graduates. She’s going to be a great Origami Owl Owlette,” said Jackie.

Along with the fun of building a business with her daughter, Jackie is already loving the chance to create pieces that represent things that matter most. Her new favorite piece of jewelry – her first Origami Owl Living Locket – is all about her family, the six most important people in her life who bring her that “live sparkly” joy.

FAMILY AT THE CENTER OF IT ALL

“I hold them close to my heart. The Boy Charm is for my boys; the Girl Charm is for my daughter. The Wedding Ring Charm is for my husband. The Love You Charm is because I tell my family I love them every day. The Hope Charm is because I hope my family knows how much they mean to me each and every day. The Cross Charm is to show my faith that God brought me this beautiful family of mine. And the Bass Fish Charm is because we like to fish together as a family, just about every Sunday,” said Jackie.

With her family and faith at the center of her life, Jackie can’t wait to help others celebrate the people and things they love through Origami Owl jewelry – and to do it with her Origami Owl Owlette partner and daughter, Shantel.
